但是玻璃纤维制成玻璃棉制品必须添加树脂类粘结剂,起到粘结玻璃纤维和维持结构支撑的作用。在遇到高温(通常为200~300摄氏度)时,树脂类粘结剂即会炭化和熔解,玻璃棉就会失去结构支撑,这就是玻璃棉无法耐受500摄氏度以上高温的关键因素。

However, when glass fiber is used to make glass wool products, resin adhesives must be added to bond the glass fiber and maintain structural support. When encountering high temperatures (usually 200-300 degrees Celsius), resin adhesives will carbonize and melt, and glass wool will lose structural support.
